Glimpses of Sky

Azure paint spills across the great canvas

Of the sky, streaks of white cirrus

Floating whimsically like foam

Upon the sea at midday.

A sunset in the distance strikes the air

With a golden light.

Cascades of blushing rose, peach,

And honey spread in great wings

Of dusty stratus.

A cumulonimbus, gargantuan, majestic

–the king of the night sky–

Marches from the north like a

Mighty battleship. A stream of

Piercing light whips from its murky depths

To smite a silent oak far beneath.

The Lord of Creation

Looks down upon His masterpiece

–a planet of ten million colors.

He smiles.

“It is good.”
